An AMPED subscription is an easy way to access the newest, most in demand electric vehicles in the market today, without a long-term commitment. We own the car, so no need to enter lengthy contracts or loans, and no registration fees or depreciation worries. We own the car, but you drive the deal. That’s AMPED.

Your AMPED subscription will include vehicle registration, up to 1,000 miles per month, routine maintenance and roadside assistance.

Currently, we have the Tesla Model Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E available. Check back often for new EVs being added to our fleet, as well as different trim levels.

We make it easy! Once approved to become an AMPED Subscriber Driver, we will set up your account with autopay. You will need to provide a checking account and credit card, and your payment will be automatically deducted on the same day each month from when your subscription started.

Yes! If you change your mind before completing your AMPED subscription, just let us know and we’ll refund your reservation fee.

Yes! We will apply a $100 credit to your account at the start of your subscription.

As much as we’d hate to see you go, if you change your mind before you confirm and pay for your subscription, we will refund your $100 reservation fee. If you are already an AMPED Subscriber Driver, please send us an email at info@driveamped.com to request a cancellation. We do require a minimum 30-day notice but your subscription will be cancelled prior to the next full billing cycle.

As part of your AMPED subscription, we include basic routine maintenance performed by an authorized AMPED service provider. Common services include: tire rotations, cabin air filter replacements, and component checkups. Software updates can easily be managed yourself while in the vehicle or using the app.

Unfortunately, no. If you wish to change cars or upgrade to a different make or model, you would need to begin a new subscription and be charged another Drive Off fee.

This is similar to a down payment you might see in a traditional lease. This helps us keep your monthly payment lower. You can customize your payments to however best it fits for you (e.g. higher down payment + lower monthly payments).

We recommend downloading the Tesla and/or Ford Pass apps to allow you keyless entry and access to other useful features. Our AMPED EV Tech Specialist will walk you through this process upon vehicle pick-up or delivery.

We currently require all AMPED Subscriber Drivers to provide their own automotive insurance. Your policy must meet the minimum required criteria:

• Bodily injury liability coverage with at least the minimum limits as required by law
• Property damage liability coverage with at least the minimum limits as required by law
• Collision and comprehensive coverage for the full value of the vehicle (maximum deductible of $1,000)
• Uninsured motorist coverage as required by law

During the setup of your subscription, we will verify your insurance coverage. In the case of your coverage lapsing, you will have up to 30 days to provide new proof of coverage. If we are unable to confirm your coverage, your subscription is subject to cancellation.

It’s easy! Simply add AMPED as an “Additional Insured/Loss Payee” to your current automotive insurance policy. Your policy must meet California’s minimum requirements:

• Minimum Liability Coverage: $15,000 per person/$30,000 per accident/$5,000 property damage (this is the state minimum, but we recommend you get higher coverage limits)
• Collision and Comprehensive Coverage: Maximum deductible of $1,000
• Uninsured/Underinsured Coverage: $15,000 per person/$30,000 per accident (this is the state minimum, but we recommend you get higher coverage limits)

Up to 1,000 miles per month is already covered in your monthly subscription fee. Additional miles will incur a $.25/mile charge and will be calculated at the end of your subscription.

If you are driving a Tesla, your AMPED EV Tech Specialist will add your account to sync with your specific Model Y so charges will automatically hit your account and credit card on file. If you are driving a Mach-E, your AMPED EV Tech Specialist will walk you through setting up an Electrify America account for fast and easy charging at their growing number of locations.

While we are working to get every AMPED vehicle equipped with carpool/HOV stickers, there is currently a 3-4 month delay at the DMV. Depending on how long you choose to be an AMPED Subscriber Driver, we will provide you with a sticker, if you choose, for a one-time cost of $50.16
